VALLEY ROAD, STREATHAM, LONDON SW16

These 16 new houses and 9 new flats for rent are arranged around a central courtyard. On many estates this would end up as a car park and the cars would dominate their surroundings. Instead we put the car park to one side, though still within the owners’ view, and made the central area into a child-friendly, safe playspace with planting and seating.
