HAYDON PARK ROAD, WIMBLEDON, LONDON SW19

The original kitchen and utility room were in a succession of small rooms and extensions, without a visual conection to the garden. Instead we created a large kitchen/dining area opening onto the garden, with a utility room and a shower / toilet next to the main house. The new extension has a green roof and a solar collector for hot water, as well as an underground rainwater tank. The water is used for toilet flushing and for watering the garden.
